Scam Details : | They are in the 13th floor and to get to their office you go to an external area, like a labirinth in the 13th floor. The meeting was not inside their offices, but in a meeting room on the 15th floor of the same building. There were some people working there, but that means nothing. Contact in the Company is Doris, never seen her, so I don't know how old she was, The translator is a girl at her 20's with a purple spectacles glasses, saying her name is Jenny. The General Manager's name is Michael Zhang. After a lengthy negotiation with the seller to get the best price for the buyer, I was invited to sign a contract in Haikou. When I went there, I checked into Mandarin Hotel. Following day a man called Mr. ke and a woman called Wendy, both dressed very ordinarily took me to their office on the 13th floor. Then the fat man called Michael Zhang was introduced to me who said that he is the GM. He doesn't speak a word of English or pretends it. He gave his business card and offered me Chinese Tea. After few minutes of all the jargon, saying that they want to do long term business, I was taken to the conference room on the fifteenth floor. There was internet connection or IDD facility. Nothing happened on that day rather than showing that they were trying to fix the internet, then came out notary fee issue. They wanted me to pay $7000 for notary fee. They said if the notary fee is not paid the deal will not go through. Following day they came to hotel with GM, Project Manager Ke and interpreter with purple glasses. Michael asked through the interpreter if the seller ready to pay the notary fee. I said that seller will not pay, then they insisted that I should pay. I told that they can deduct from my commission. They did not agree for that. Then ke asked me to offer lunch to his GM because he has given you million dollar worth of business. I was taken to Oscar Hotel a private dining room and I was asked to order the food for the GM. While we were having diner another two men walked into the room. They were introduced as Financial Controller and Accountant. I was told to look after them because they are the ones who is going pay for the business. After an hour later another guy walked who was there in the conference room day joined us for lunch. Within few minutes he asked me to come to another room to discuss further accompanying the purple glass interpreter woman. This guy asked me to buy gifts for the other men as per Chinese custom. I said I don't have time for that because I had less than two hours to catch the plane. Then he said I should pay 1500 Euros for each of those men which will total 10,000 Euros. When I refused, He said it should be 1500AUD for all of them. I was taken to cashier of Oscar Hotel to pay for the lunch and withdraw money from credit card to pay for those guys. The cashier refused to withdraw money from the credit. Then I was taken to the ATM. Couldn't withdraw from the ATM. After trying with another two ATM, I was taken to Bank of China by Ke-Project Manager and Finance Controller & the interpreter. Even though I was running late to go to the airport, they were more keen in grabbing the money from me. Finally at 4pm Bank withdrew money $1500 from my credit card and gave it to Ke. Now I was rushed to the airport. When I came back, I informed that we are not ready to pay for the Notary fee and immediately I received a mail Shirgem without any name that they will drop the deal because of the notary fee. My seller questioned, if someone wants to do multi million dollar how come they are unable to pay $7000? It all looked too good to be true. Shirgem did not question or ask for any pictures or seller's details. I got scammed by Shirgem for $1500+250+ my flight hotel and other expenses.
